Itinerary
Monday, December 30th:
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our assistant will welcome you, assist you with entry formalities, and escort you to your private transfer to the hotel. After check-in, enjoy dinner and overnight stay.
A warm welcome to Egypt and the beginning of an unforgettable journey.
Tuesday, December 31st:
After breakfast at the hotel, get ready for an exciting day exploring the timeless wonders of Ancient Egypt.
Led by our expert Egyptologist, you'll visit the Giza Plateau, where the majestic Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure rise from the desert sands. Explore the Valley Temple, stand before the legendary Sphinx, and continue on to Saqqara, home to the Step Pyramid of Djoser, Egypt’s oldest pyramid, and the fascinating Serapeum, with its giant granite sarcophagi.
If time allows, you’ll continue to Dahshur to admire the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, masterpieces of Pharaoh Snefru.
We end the year surrounded by Egypt’s timeless marvels — an unforgettable farewell to 2025.
Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. In the evening, New Year’s Eve special dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay.
Wednesday, January 1st:
Start the new year with a journey into the spiritual and authentic heart of Cairo. After breakfast, explore the ancient Coptic Quarter, one of the city's oldest and most evocative areas. Within the historic Fortress of Babylon, visit the iconic Hanging Church, suspended between two Roman towers, and the Church of St. Sergius, traditionally believed to have sheltered the Holy Family. The visit continues to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, a reminder of Cairo’s rich Jewish heritage.
After lunch, enjoy a moment of calm and wonder with a felucca sail on the Nile — drifting gently on the river as the city flows by, welcoming the new year with peace and beauty.
The day ends with a stroll through modern downtown Cairo, where elegant boulevards and lively cafés pulse with the energy of everyday life.
We begin the year embracing the many souls of Cairo — spiritual, historic, and vividly real.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Thursday, January 2nd:
After breakfast, get ready for an unforgettable desert adventure aboard 4x4 jeeps. We head towards the Fayum, Egypt’s largest oasis, a fascinating and remote land about 90 km southwest of Cairo.
The journey begins along the shores of Lake Qarun, one of the oldest lakes in the world, and continues to the Wadi El-Rayan Nature Reserve, home to Egypt’s only waterfalls, beautifully integrated into the desert landscape.
Next, we’ll explore the legendary Whale Valley (Wadi Al-Hitan), a UNESCO World Heritage Site with extraordinarily well-preserved fossils of ancient whales — traces of a time when this land was covered by a primordial sea.
After a simple yet scenic lunch in the desert, we’ll head to the Magic Lake, a hidden gem nestled among golden dunes. Those who wish can try sandboarding down the soft slopes.
A truly timeless day filled with natural wonders and echoes of ancient worlds. Return to Cairo in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Friday, January 3rd
After breakfast, start your day with a fascinating panoramic tour of Islamic Cairo, including a visit to Saladin Citadel, an imposing fortification that served as a royal residence for centuries. From here, you will enjoy spectacular views of the city and historic Cairo. We will continue to Qarafa, the mysterious “City of the Dead”, a place where ancient necropolises intertwine with the daily life of its inhabitants. We will then immerse ourselves in the timeless magic of Khan el-Khalili souq, the beating heart of the old city. Among alleys scented with spices and shops full of fabrics, lamps, jewelry and antiques, it will be like stepping back in time.
After lunch in town, we’ll head to a truly special experience: the visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), recently inaugurated and already hailed as one of the world’s cultural marvels.
We’ll enter in the afternoon, just as the golden light of sunset bathes the museum in a warm glow, making the visit even more evocative. We’ll admire the colossus and obelisk of Ramses II, and walk through galleries filled with over 100,000 priceless artifacts. The highlight will be the encounter with the complete treasure of Tutankhamun, displayed in its entirety for the first time.
An unmissable chance to conclude the journey with an emotional immersion into the millennia-old history of Ancient Egypt, in one of the world’s most iconic cultural landmarks.
Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Sunday, January 4:
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, it's time to say goodbye. Transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight back to your Country of origin.
